Curaçao – Dutch Caribbean Charm

We flew from Aruba to Curaçao on February 16 aboard an Air Antilles aircraft. We were greeted at the airport by some great folks who helped us with our rental car and all our luggage.  We arrived at our new digs and settled right in. We loved Curacao on our past visit and really enjoyed showing John and Jan the sights.  With only 12 days left here before we venture to Bonaire, we are intent on seeing all the sights we can with them.  Enjoy the photos below!

Delicious Pina Coladas Curacao style with Blue Curacao liquor added.
Our plane (ATR 42) for the short flight from Aruba to Bonaire.
Our place – walk right out to the pool.

We enjoy our villa and the private dock.
Fun at the tiki bar.
Hanging out by the pool.
Flamingos on the way to Kokomo Beach.
Kokomo beach.
John and Jan enjoying drinks at the beach bar.
The Captains posing!
Crossing the swing bridge to old town Willemstaad – a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Colourful buildings everywhere.
Vibrant street art.
Typical outdoor restaurant downtown.
Gorgeous Grote Knip beach.

The water colour is amazing!
Family rules – that we all should abide by!
Happy hour appies!
Reliable weather forecasting!

Gorgeous architecture.
