We arrived back in Canada in early August and spent the next 6 weeks travelling across Canada visiting family and friends. Upon return to Kelowna we focused on preparing for our move into our new condo in West Kelowna. We had exactly one week to get moved into our new place before heading out again. After some lovely visits with friends on Vancouver Island, we went to Vancouver in preparation for boarding the ship on September 22.
Unfortunately during testing between cruises in Honolulu, Ken tested positive for Covid and had to quarantine. I was placed in a different cabin. Ken quarantined for 10 days. We had 4 days together and then I became ill with Covid on the leg from Honolulu to Sydney and was quarantined for 6 days. Ken was placed in a different cabin and we were able to reunite before starting the New Zealand cruise.
We are onboard the same ship now headed for Fjiordland New Zealand and will post pictures of our 12 day trip to New Zealand in our next blog.
