Birthday Boys in the Southern Caribbean 😊

It’s hard to believe that we have been in Aruba almost one month now!  We are enjoying our final days here before we move next to Curaçao on February 16.

We toured Arikok National Park with it’s interesting caves and an aloe vera farm.  Shortly after that, Ken’s foot became inflamed and swollen and he subsequently went to the doctor, the hospital and another doctor over the past 2 weeks.  It has recovered nicely now and he is back on his feet.  We are not sure what caused it but perhaps an insect bite.

We also celebrated John’s 66th birthday on February 5th, followed by Ken’s 65th birthday on February 9th.

We’ve experienced some rain storms here along with the constant, relentless wind that howls all the time.  It is always close to 28 degrees so the wind does provide some cooling.
