Odyssey of the Seas ship and arrival in Europe

It was a wonderful experience to be part of the inaugural voyage of Odyssey of the Seas from Ft. Lauderdale to Europe.  Even though we had to miss the port in Madeira, Portugal, we were treated to wonderful sights in Spain and Italy before leaving the ship in Rome after 14 days onboard.

The weather during the voyage was quite warm but as we neared Europe, it cooled down and we finally put on some of the warmer clothes that we had been packing around for months, not needing in the warmer climates.
